Another wonderful thing about Catalina Island is that about 88% of the Island was donated to the Catalina Island Conservancy. These are photos I took while hiking around the ‘airport in the sky’ near the top of the Island. I got more photos on a camera (these are from my phone) - even one of Bison! I’ll see when I can load those if I ever get to it! :) There are many great camping and hiking areas here for the nature lover in all of us. (OK, most of us.)

I went back to Pinnacles National Monument again, here are some of the wild flower pics I took there. Names that I know = Red Thistle, Elegant Clarkia (pink/ purple), Sticky Monkey Flower (rock stack pic), pic w/ pink stalk flower almost looks like a snap-dragon but IDK what it is (and Added) California Buckeye flower w/ Bee! I think that many people have forgotten how important it is to get outside and commune with nature. It helps you realize we are just a part of a chain! :)
