This is a pic of a little cutie snake in Prunedale, CA that I encountered yesterday. It is a Sharp Tailed Snake, or Contia Tenuis. They are smallest snake around here supposedly— being 3-4” as babies and growing only as large as 18”! They eat slugs/ snails/ bugs, Info I looked up says they are often mistaken for worms!  ..Awwwe…
